Manchester United ambassador Peter Schmeichel commends Louis van Gaal's appointment as the new manager of the club and believes Van Gaal is capable of achieving Old Trafford.
Schmeichel insists that former Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich managers have the necessary character at Old Trafford after an unobtrusive season for the club. Manchester United finish the Premier League rivals in the seventh place and qualify for the Champions League quarter-final stage.
Schmeichel told Sky Sports that it was a good news as everyone wanted the certainty whether Louis Van Gaal would really come to Old Trafford as a new manager.
Schmeichel also reminded the supporters that the change would not take place in one night. Van Gaal must have something in his mind about what to do. And he also has a number two who really understands about the club, Ryan Giggs.
